Publication Ethic
Recht: Journal of Legal Studies is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal seeks to ensure that all stages of the publication process are conducted in a transparent, fair, and responsible manner, involving authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
Authors are required to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted to other journals. All sources must be properly cited, and any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or unethical research practice is strictly prohibited. Authors must ensure that all individuals who have made a significant contribution to the work are appropriately acknowledged and that all listed authors have approved the final manuscript. Any potential conflict of interest that may influence the research or its interpretation must be clearly disclosed.
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s scope. The editorial process is conducted objectively and without discrimination. Editors and editorial staff are required to maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and to avoid conflicts of interest in handling submissions.
Reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality of the journal. They are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, provide constructive feedback, and respect the confidentiality of the review process. Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest and decline to review manuscripts when such conflicts exist.
The publisher, Institute for Legal Research and Studies (LPKH), Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, supports ethical publishing practices and ensures that editorial decisions are made independently of commercial considerations. In cases of suspected ethical misconduct, the journal will take appropriate actions in accordance with accepted academic publishing standards, which may include rejection, correction, or retraction of published articles.
