About the Journal

Recht: Journal of Legal Studies is a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal published by the Institute for Legal Research and Studies (Lembaga Penelitian dan Kajian Hukum/LPKH), Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti. The journal is committed to promoting the development of legal scholarship by providing a platform for high-quality academic works that address both theoretical and practical legal issues.

The journal focuses on Business Law, Criminal Law, and Constitutional Law, while also welcoming manuscripts discussing general legal issues relevant to contemporary legal developments. Contributions are encouraged from scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students, particularly members of the academic community of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, in response to the dynamic and evolving nature of law.

Recht: Journal of Legal Studies applies a full open access policy, meaning that all published articles are freely available to readers without subscription or access fees. This journal does not charge any fees for submission or publication.

All articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows others to read, download, copy, distribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the author(s) and the journal.

The journal is published biannually, in March and October. To ensure long-term digital preservation and accessibility, Recht: Journal of Legal Studies supports standard journal archiving systems compatible with OJS, including LOCKSS-based preservation services.
