Screening Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to Recht: Journal of Legal Studies are subject to plagiarism screening as part of the initial editorial assessment. The journal uses Turnitin to evaluate the similarity level of each submission in order to ensure originality and uphold academic integrity. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 30% will not be accepted for publication. In such cases, the manuscript may be returned to the author(s) for revision or rejected, depending on the nature and extent of the similarity. Proper citations, quotations, and references must be used to avoid plagiarism and excessive similarity.

Recht: Journal of Legal Studies is committed to preventing all forms of plagiarism and unethical academic practices, and only manuscripts that meet the journal’s ethical and originality standards will proceed to the peer review process.
